Location is quite remote!!! Prepare for bus rides or a taxi from Kyoto station since it’s too far from any subway stops. Lastly, outside bathroom may be inconvenient for some guests!!!

ryokan tori was an absolute gem! we were warmly welcomed with a beautiful tea ceremony, and our japanese-style deluxe room was gorgeous and comfy. the breakfast was truly one of the best meals we've ever had! it's close to downtown, accessible by bus, although it takes a bit to get there.
